Paper Towns The Ending
It's the night of graduation. Quentin grabs his friends and a couple of girls to go with him to this journey to New York. It is a long intense journey. Quinten is trying to get there as quickly as possible so they can catch Margo before she leaves Agloe forever. 21 hours pass by and the reach New York finally. They come across this old abandoned barn. At first Quinten and his friends doubted checking the barn to see if she was really there. But something made Quentin believe she was actually there. Bam! There Margo is sitting in this old barn writing. After, Quinten confronts her, they start to argue. Quinten's friends get mad and upset so they leave. They end up taking his car to drive back to Orlando so they wouldn't miss the school dance. Quinten didn't even care that they left , he had more important things on his mind. He wants/needs to get Margo back into his life. Margo realizes she loves him too but convinces him that they aren't meant for each other. Margo confesses that she left because she needed everyone to forget her false personality back in Orlando. I think Margo just couldn't be herself around her classmates. She needed to get away to find herself. Quinten refuses to believe her, he doesn't want to give up on her just yet. Yes they love each other but they both agree that they will both have different futures. Margo stays in New York while Quinten takes the next bus back to Orlando. Quinten joins his friends at graduation and the school dance. Quinten is now finally free to move on from his love for Margo Roth Spiegleman. Margo remains the "paper girl" and Quinten remains the "paper boy". The end.
